FINALIST: Norfolk 28 Display Home (Kitchen in a Display Home up to $500k)
As you enter the kitchen in Beachwood’s "Norfolk 28" Display Home you will immediately understand why this home is so popular amongst those with an eye for function and design.
The “Urban Native” interior aesthetic is a unique design theme created by Beachwood’s interior experts to soften the popular modern industrial style with touches of nature.
With its modern layout, well-appointed Butler’s Pantry, and convenient access to the Laundry, not only is the Kitchen super functional, but the colour combination of Black and “Bayleaf Green” along with design touches make this Kitchen an artful masterpiece.
A focal point of the Kitchen is the large central square island bench hub that forms a core place for food prep and socialising. The Engineered Stone benchtop provides an immediate wow factor with its marble-like aesthetic that seems to go on forever. Drawers facing the Kitchen’s work area provide additional convenient storage.
Cooking and entertaining in this Kitchen is easy with a spacious L-shaped layout and convenient appliance locations. Overhead joinery in a natural-look black vertical grain finish, along with base cabinets completed in smooth “Bayleaf Green" contrast beautifully to create a look and colour palette inspired by the outdoors. A large splashback window behind the undermount sink brings an escape to the unglamorous task of dishwashing and provides a view to the outdoor entertaining area. A highlight of this work area is the "Alder Copper" sink mixer, providing an unmissable pop of metallic, industrial style.
A highlight of this Kitchen's sophistication is the fully integrated fridge and dishwasher, allowing the focus to be on the functional design aesthetic and not the appliances, creating a seamless, uninterrupted designer look.
A convenient Butler’s Pantry, with a combination of floor to ceiling joinery, open shelving and lower cabinets allows for plenty of storage and workspace. Black grain cabinetry and an Engineered Stone benchtop complement the kitchen style, and the black undermount sink makes entertaining a breeze.
FINALIST: Lorne 34 Display Home (Kitchen in a Display Home up to $500k)
The "Lorne 34" Display Home kitchen with its generous proportions, distinctive joinery, and decorative fixtures, contains all the hallmarks of the sophisticated "Hamptons" style that Australians have come to love.
A highlight of the Kitchen is the large island bench. A modern take on the traditional "Butchers Block", it is not only a fantastic space for food preparation but also provides a special place for family and friends to gather. The 60mm “Concrete Matte” Engineering Stone countertop cascades down the sides to meet the floor, forming a stunning “Waterfall” edge that bathes this space in style and luxury. Further warmth is added by “Premium Oak Timber” inlaid to the back of the island to blend seamlessly with the floor, which along with LED strips lighting and bookended cabinets, creates a homely golden glow synonymous with Hamptons rustic comfort.
The rear of the Kitchen includes plenty more storage and bench space, including overhead and base cabinets with “Laminex Formwrap Provincial” profiles complemented by provincial style “Iron Bark” handles, connected by a feature splashback of “French Carrara Bianco” tiles that add interesting textures and depth.
With conveniently located "Fisher & Paykel" appliances, including integrated companion appliances comprising of a coffee machine and steam oven, this Kitchen will have you cooking and entertaining and fuss-free style.
Another notable feature in this Kitchen is a Wine Bar Nook with an integrated fridge and glass shelving that allows the avid entertainer to host in style. This space provides another opportunity for guests to relax and mingle, while they enjoy a decadent cheese platter served on the countertop and admire your selection of wines. You can’t get more sophisticated than that!
A generous Butler’s Pantry, with overhead open shelving, lower cabinets, and Abey inset sink, allows for plenty of storage and makes entertaining a breeze.
FINALIST: New Haven 22 Display Home (Kitchen in a Display Home up to $500k)
Let's hear it for New York! The "New Haven 22" Display Home kitchen brings glamour to the family hub with its “Manhattan Luxe” style and inner-city sophistication.
Located at the rear of the home within a light-filled open-plan space, the U-shaped kitchen provides easy access to the indoor meals and outdoor dining area, providing year-round accessibility for easy entertaining inside and outside the home.
Upon entry, your eyes are immediately drawn to the stunning Satin Black "Laminex Formwrap Shaker" profile cabinets and glimmering "Alder Brushed Brass" handles throughout, making this Kitchen an entertainer’s dream that oozes charm and charisma.
The clever layout includes loads of storage and bench space, topped by "Statuarto Quartz" Engineered Stone in contrasting white to complete the sophisticated monochrome Manhattan look. This space is made even more exciting by the benchtop cascading to the floor creating a "Waterfall" edge.
Well located "Fisher & Paykel" appliances, including twin ovens, are stylishly black, and the integrated dishwasher is well-concealed in the smooth black joinery.
An integrated Walk-in Pantry incorporates further appliances and a preparation bench bathed in natural light from a countertop splashback window. Looking to the opposite wall, you’ll be wowed by stunning floor to ceiling "Laminex Black Satin Shaker" profile cabinets with pops of Brushed Brass provided by the handles, continuing the dark, sophisticated style of the kitchen.
