The Victorian Government’s First Home Owner Grant is a financial incentive that can make your first home more affordable, and give you a quicker, easier way into the property market. You’ll find a basic overview below, but the process to apply for the grant is detailed, so if you want the best result, speak with a home finance professional first.
The grant provides up to $10,000 if the home you’re buying is within Melbourne’s metropolitan area, and up to $20,000 if you choose to buy in regional Victoria.
